What To Expect

Overview

The stretch of the Trinity River we fish is known for having one of the highest populations of Alligator Gar anywhere on earth. Whether it's your first time or you're an experienced angler, I'll walk you through every step.

A Typical Trip Looks Like

​

• Meet at the boat ramp where your 18 foot Jet boat will be ready

• Run to proven fishing areas on the Trinity River

• Set baits out or actively fish (lure or fly)

• Watch for gar surfacing and prepare for the bite

• Hook, land, photograph, and safely release your catch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What's Included

• ​All rods, reels, and tackle

• Bait, lures or flies

• Cooler full of cold water

• Photos of your catch

What You Need To Bring

​

• ​Texas Fishing License

• Clothes and shoes you won't mind getting wet or fishy

• Food/Drinks if desired

​Skill Level

​

No experience needed. Trips are beginner friendly but also tailored for experienced anglers.

Minimum age is 8 years old. Children under 13 MUST wear a life jacket while onboard the boat.
